Instructions on Availability Posts

To Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce Lodging Members:

For those of you who are interested, this is where you can post information about available nights, weeks, weekends, etc., relative to your paid for listing with the Chamber. Please include all pertinent information about your availability, including your e-mail, phone number and website (if applicable). The Chamber Information Booth staff will use this information (or provide the link) to prospective renters to help you fill your vacancies. The more current the information is, the more useful it will be to you and the Chamber. (If the information is kept current, it will eliminate unnecessary calls and work for both you and the Chamber) This tool could be particularly helpful for those of you who are open in the winter months and the summer shoulder seasons. This is a "members only" blog. This means that only people who are subscribed to it can post. If you are a current Chamber Lodging member and want to subscribe to the blog (*no extra fees - included with your Chamber membership) please contact Maureen. (You must have a valid e-mail address to participate)

Once you are "subscribed" to the blog, (by notifying Maureen by e-mail) you will receive an e-mail inviting you to participate. Just click on the link and follow instructions on how to set up a Google account. This should take less than five minutes. Once your account is set up access the blog, sign in, and click on "new post" on the top right of the page. A text box will pop up. Just fill in the fields and click on "publish". (You will be able to add links and photos to your post if you want to, by using the icons on the top of the text box for the body of your post.)

PS This blog is intended to post availability information only. Please keep your posts reasonable in length and on topic. The blog is set to "archive" once per month. This means that dated entries will not show on the front page (they will be moved to the area on the top right that says "Blog Archive".) Once you have posted a message you can access it to edit as you wish. (This will not change the chronological order of the post.)
